This course is spilt over two sessions
 
Saturday June 10th (10am-2pm)
This workshop is with Manchester based Ceramic Artist Katie Nelson. During the workshop you will handbuild a butterdish and use dried flowers to create surface decoration.
 
Saturday June 24th (10-12:30pm)
During the second session you will be adding a Cobalt oxide to the surface texture and then removing the excess to reveal the intricate floral details. You will then glaze you're pieces in a transparent glaze to make them food-safe and fully functional
 
 
This course is suitable for total beginners and for those with more experience. After the workshop the work will be fired and glazed and ready to collect around 3 weeks later.
